Backed by the powerful SumTotal Learning Management system (LMS), SIA helps users search for learning activities without interrupting the flow of work. This experience is available for all users right at their point of need.
Using SIA, you can search for training from anywhere on the web (such as a search engine, news article, or social media site). If you come across a topic that interests you, simply highlight the text and search in SIA. You can then browse the videos, books, and other activities in the SumTotal LMS that match the highlighted text, all without leaving your current window.
If the activity is a supported video file (mp4, mp3, mov, or webm), you can also launch it directly within the SIA extension. You can then access any available interaction and completion details for the activity via the SumTotal website in the same way you would an activity you launched directly from the site.
